Double Services Held For Ginger and Jason Masters

Double funeral services were held Saturday, February 10th, for Mrs. John (Ginger) Masters Jr. and Jason Masters. The two were killed in a car-truck accident that took place 1.5 miles west of Blair on Highway 30 February 8th. Mrs. Masters was 20 years of age and Jason was five years old.

Funeral services were at the First Lutheran Church in Blair, with Rev. John Petersen officiating. Burial was in the Kennard Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Masters was born on May 5, 1958 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was married to John Masters Jr. who survives her. They lived on a farm west of Blair. Jason Masters was born on January 15, 1974, at Blair. He is survived by his father.

Surviving parents and grandparents include the following: John Masters, Jr., Mrs. Francis (Margaret) Thomas, Herman; Robert Hammer, Missouri Valley, Iowa; and Mr. and Mrs. John Masters, Sr., of Blair.

Brothers of Mrs. Masters are Craig Hammer, Herman and Troy Thomas, Herman.

Pallbearers were: Tom Mencke, Stanley Mencke; Randy Mencke; Bruce Masters, Mark Kuhr and Dan Flynn.

Note: Death date was 8 Feb 1979; Ginger buried in Blk 8 Lot 23 Sp 2 and Jason buried in Blk 8 Lot 23 Sp 1 in Kennard Cemetery.
