Peter Otto Schmidt, 67 years of age, Fort Calhoun, died Wednesday morning at Memorial Community Hospital following a stroke Monday.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Interment follows in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.
Mr. Schmidt was born April 3, 1895 at Fort Calhoun.
He married Miss Helen Milenz in 1916.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, George of Omaha and Charles and Elmer of Fort Calhoun; six daughters, Mrs. Don Stricklett (Betty), Mrs. Richard Hollinghead (Ruth), Mrs. Joe Buller (Pat) all of Omaha, Mrs. Carroll Moore (Rose) of Blair; Mrs. Bernard Phelan (Norma) and Mrs. James E. Myers (Thelma) of California and 30 grandchildren.
The Sievers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
