Mrs. Wm. Schmidt of Calhoun, passed away at the Mayo Bros. hospital at Rochester, Minn. last Friday, Feb. 8 following an operation for a growth in the head.

The deceased is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Schmidt of Ft. Calhoun and is survived by her husband, three children, nine sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 17 and interment made in the Calhoun cemetery.
