Services Thursday for James H. Wulf

Funeral services for James Harold Wulf, 71, of rural Blair will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at the First Lutheran Church in Blair. Rev. Kurt Sortland will officiate with organist Clare Cowing and vocalist Keith Hightree. Burial will follow at the Blair Cemetery.

Born to Detlef and Sena (Jensen) Wulf April 5, 1913 in Blair, James attended Rose Hill School. He married Nadene Pearce May 17, 1933 in Red Oak, Iowa. She survives with children Robert James, David, Mrs. Gary (Bonnie) Baker and Rodney, all of Blair. 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A farmer, James was a member of the Rural Fire Department Board, the Rose Hill School Board, a charter member of the Eagles, and sold MFS steel bins since 1970. He was preceded in death by one brother, one sister and one grandson, Jamie Sterner.

Honorary pallbearers are Gil Garner, Art Kempcke, Bill Newkirk, Emmett Rogert, Wayne Steinbaugh, Everett Stork, Howard Thompson and Harland Wulf.

Active pallbearers are Russell Christensen, Ed Hansen, Don Kuhr, Larry Moore, Lowell Moore, Neil Moore, Dean Wulf and Bill Rasmussen.
