Funeral services for Washington County native Paul Wulf were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard.

Rev. Russell Saltzman officiated with organist David Collins and vocalist Genevieve Golder. Song selections were “Old Rugged Cross” and “How Great Thou Art.”

Pallbearers were Lyle Japp, Richard Japp, Walter Japp, Jr., Clarence Schneekloth, Robert Wulf and Roy Wulf. Graveside services followed at the Kennard Cemetery.

Paul Wulf was born September 16, 1901 to Henry and Elizabeth Wulf. Paul attended Wranch School and married Christine Japp Feb. 17, 1926 in Blair. Paul and Christine farmed in the Kennard area until retiring in 1969, at which time they moved to Blair.

Paul passed away at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital Feb. 13, 1985. He is survived by his wife Christine, two sons, Donald of Fremont and Clifford of Arlington; four grandchildren, two step grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one step great- grandchild; one brother Frank Wulf of Omaha. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and five sisters.

Paul Wulf was born on September 16, 1901 in Washington County, Nebraska to Henry and Elizabeth (Soll) Wulf.
