Wednesday service for Wulf

Services for Robert R. Wulf, 62, 152 James Drive, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 1734 Grant Street in Blair, with Father Jess Hansen and organist Ruth Mirtz.

Wulf, who died Sunday, June 3, was a salesman for Blair Manufacturing and a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II.

He is survived by his wife Donna M. (Reed), daughters Patty (Mrs. Leslie Wakefield) of Herman and Dennise (Mrs. Ron Therkelsen) of Austin, Texas, son Kenneth of Blair, nine grandchildren, brother Harlan of Blair, and sister Verna (Mrs. Everett Stork) of Blair.

Robert, the son of Hans and Dora (Reeh) Wulf, served on the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department and the St. Mary’s Episcopal Church Board. He was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Blair Masonic Lodge No. 21, and the Shrine, Scottish Rite and Royal Arch of the Eastern Star. He attended Lincoln, Rosehill, and the Blair Schools. He worked for Blair Manufacturing for 35 years.

Pallbearers for the services are Donald G. Anderson, Joe McManigal, Jim Ryan, Frank Rybin, Marv Stier and Jack Varley. Honorary pallbearers are George Carmichael, Ed McFerrin, Louis Murdoch, Vic Nielsen, Kelly Ryan, Dale Stricklett and Richard Trofholz.

Wulf was born in Kennard September 9, 1921. Burial will be at Blair Cemetery Wednesday, June 6.
