Esther Wulff, 87

Esther Wulff, 87, of Ontario, Ore., died Sept. 30, 2002, at a local care center. Graveside services were held Oct. 4, at Hilltop Memorial Cemetery in Nyssa, Ore.

Esther Wulff was born Jan. 5, 1915, in Tekamah to Andrew and Scena (Helms) Jenson. She grew up in Tekamah.

On March 12, 1936, she married Nels Irvin “Stub” Wulff in Fremont. The couple lived in Tekamah until 1946, when the family moved to Oregon. In 1947, after living close to Salem for a year, they moved to the Ontario area.

Mrs. Wulff had a gift and love for flowers. She was a floral designer until her retirement. She was a past member of the Beatrice Rebekah Lodge, Emblem Club and Drill Team and enjoyed bowling with her husband.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Maralee and John Ward of Nyssa, Ore.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelene Wrinkle of Ontario, and Violet Wulff Lawson of Blair.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Irvin; two brothers and two sisters.
