Services for Myrtle Theresa Wyrick, 62 of Missouri Valley, Iowa who died December 30, 1995 at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha were Tuesday, January 2 at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Missouri Valley. Rev. Raphael Masabakhwa officiated. Burial was in Frazier Cemetery at Missouri Valley.

Myrtle Theresa Wyrick was born January 4, 1933 in Astoria Queens, New York to Anton and Dorothy A. Meyers Bubenik. She graduated from the Epiphany School in Brooklyn, New York.

She married Jimmy C. Wyrick February 14, 1959 in Brooklyn. They lived in New York before moving to Missouri Valley in 1968.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy of Missouri Valley; children, Theresa Tobin of Beckemeyer, Illinois; Jimmy C. Wyrick, Jr. of Missouri Valley; Catherine Thomas of Council Bluffs, Iowa; John Wyrick of Lone Tree, Iowa; Andrew Wyrick of Houston, Texas and Dorothy Reynolds of Kennard, Nebraska; sisters, Dorothy Bubenik and Joan Russell, both of Englishtown, New Jersey and Anne Childers of Locust Grove, Georgia; a brother, Robert Bubenik of New Jersey and ten grandchildren.

Casket bearers were Gary Reynolds, Arnold Mahoney, Henry Marquardt, Clarence Kross, Richard Johnson and John “Bud” Barrett.

Betty Marquardt was organist. Brit Liljedahl was vocalist.

Hennessey-Hurley-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
