Services for Ressie Jane Evans, 94, of Blair, who died May 4, 1993, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair, are at 10:30 am. , Thursday, May 6, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Ressie Jane Evans was born June 19, 1898, in Humansville, Missouri, to Thomas and Elizabeth Hensley Robson. She attended school in Humansville and Emerson Nebraska.

She married Charles Evans May 9, 1917, in Pender, Nebraska.

They lived in and around the Emerson and Orient, Iowa, area where they farmed. For the past 50 years, they have lived in the Fort Calhoun and Blair area. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles in 1970; a daughter, Alice; infant daughters, Doris Mae and Wilma Faye and grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters, Violet Hansen of Fremont and Velma Raleigh of Lakewood, Colorado; a sister, Ilah Petersen of Holland, Michigan; ten grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
