HANS JENSEN, HERMAN NATIVE, DIED NOVEMBER 12

Hans Jensen, 71-year-old resident of Newton, Iowa, died last Wednesday, November 12th following a long illness.

He was a native of the Herman area, having been born there December 12, 1903. He grew to manhood in Washington county.

He is survived by his wife, Blanche; by a son, Alfred, of Newton; and a daughter, Mrs. John Barry of Des Moines. There are five grandchildren.

Mrs. Minnie Kuhr, of Blair is a sister of the deceased man and Mrs. Dagmar Heeran, of Herman is also a sister. Albert Jensen of Herman is a brother. One brother, John, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at Newton last Saturday, November 15th.
