Rose M. (Mathiesen) Evans, 75 of Temecula, Calif., died Monday, May 23, 2005, in Temecula.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 3, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair, with interment in the Walthill Cemetery.

Rose Marie Evans was born Feb. 28, 1929, in Petersburg to Oliver and Clara (Watland) Score. She grew up in Walthill, and married Thomas Mathiesen on May 18, 1946. He died in 1956. On Oct. 24, 1964, she married Roy Evans in Las Vegas, Nev.

She is survived by her husband, Roy, of Temecula; son, Thomas Mathiesen Jr. of Temecula; sister and brother-in-law, Shirlene and Corwin Hayes of Blair; nephews and nieces.
