LESTER KRONBERG DIES RECENTLY IN DENVER

Word has been received that Lester Kronberg, former resident of Kennard and Blair, died recently at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado, after a long illness.

He was married to Helen Pound, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pound of Blair. They have three children.

Mrs. Kronberg resides at 7579 Knox Court, Westminister, Colorado 80030

SERVICES HELD FOR LESTER KRONBERG IN COLO.

Lester Kronberg passed away May 27, at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Denver after a year’s illness with terminal cancer. The funeral service was held at Fairmont Chapel and he was buried in the Fairmont Cemetery, also in Denver.

He was married to Helen Louise Pound, January 14, 1939. He served in the 8th Air Force in England during World War II.

They moved from Blair to Denver in 1943. Lester worked for the Gates Rubber Company as a machine scheduler for 18 years.

He was a district manager for the Rocky Mountain News for 10 years and worked at Central Heating in Westminster, Colorado for 5 years.

He leaves his wife, Helen and three children, Steven and Jeff, of Westminster; daughter, Kathy Gibson of Los Alamos, CA; and 5 grandchildren and his sister, Twila Thunn of Omaha plus nephews and nieces.

Helen’s parents are Freida and Kenneth Pound and one sister, Barbara.
