Bernetta, the little three-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Martin, passed away at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Martin of this place, Monday afternoon. The little one had been ailing the past few weeks but was not considered serious. It was a terrible shock to all when death called her so unexpectedly. The funeral services will be held at the Baptist church at Tekamah, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, Rev. H.H. Gunderson officiating. Interment will be made in the Tekamah cemetery. The parents who recently moved here from Tekamah with other relatives have the sympathy of the community.

Birneta (sp), the little three-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Martin, died here Monday noon, at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Martin. She was ill but a short time suffering with intestinal and stomach troubles. Funeral services were held Wednesday and burial was made in the Tekamah cemetery. We extend sympathy to the bereaved parents in the loss of a loved one.
