Services for John M. Everhart,87, who died June 5, 1985, in Blair Memorial Community Hospital, were Saturday, June 8, at the First United Methodist Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery and the Rev. John Ewton officiated.

Everhart was born Feb. 13, 1898, in Neligh, the son of Joseph and Clara Everhart. He married Laura Geiler, April 9, 1918, in Brunswick.

He attended school in the Neligh area and moved to Blair in 1951. He worked for the State Highway Department until his retirement in 1963.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jim (Faye) Williby of Blair; two brothers, Phillip of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Clifford of Payetto, Idaho; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Everhart was preceded in death by his wife, one son, one daughter, one brother and one sister.

Pallbearers were John Everhart, Richard Everhart, Robert Everhart, Bradley Rouse, Dundi Rouse, Nicholas Wood, Aaron Williams and Donald Williby. Organist was Nancy Hanson and vocalist was ? Fischer.
