MRS. PAULSEN BURIED SUNDAY
SHE DIED AT NORFOLK FOLLOWING AN ILLNESS OF ABOUT FIVE WEEKS DURATION AND BURIAL WAS HERE
Mrs. Marie Paulsen passed away at Norfolk, Neb., last Thursday evening of dropsy and heart trouble, having been in bed for about five weeks. Her stepdaughter, Mrs. K.P. Hundahl was up there in the morning and the doctor told them the end was very near. The body was brought here and the funeral service held at the Danish Lutheran church at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon, Rev. H. Nielsen officiating.
Mrs. Marie Jensen was born in Vejle, Denmark, November 11, 1861, so was almost 67 years of age. She was married there to Christoffer Paulsen in 1909 and they came to America the same year, making their home in this city. Mr. Paulsen passed away July 10th, 1921, and a few years later she went to Norfolk to make her home.
She leaves four step-children, Paul and Martin Paulsen, who live north of Blair; Chris and Mrs. K.P. Hundahl of this city. One brother lives in Denmark.
