Nels Paulson passed away at his home west of Orum on Thursday following an illness of double pneumonia. Mr. Paulson leaves to mourn him, besides his wife and six children, three brothers and one sister. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved ones. Mr. and Mrs. Paulson and family had moved onto the old Chris L. Paulson place in March.

Nels N. Poulson, well known farmer of Washington County, passed away at his home near Orum, on last Thursday, April 5, the victim of a prolonged attack of pneumonia, at the age of forty-four years, three months and twenty-one day.

Deceased was born and reared in this county and had many friends who respected him for his many qualities. At his death he was living on the old home place southwest of Orum where he had moved this spring after coming into the ownership of it.

The funeral services were held Wednesday, April 10 from the Orum Church of which he was a member with Rev. Larsen of Kennard officiating and interment was made in the Orum Cemetery.

Beside the bereaved widow and six children he leave three brothers Martin, Soren, and Carl, one sister, Mrs. William Fick all of this county to mourn his death.
