SERVICES FOR MRS. WALTER PFEIFFER HELD TUESDAY

Services for Mrs. Walter Pfeiffer were held Tuesday afternoon, February 9th, at Arlington.

Mrs. Walter Pfeiffer passed away Saturday evening at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha. She was born February 13, 1917 at Elwood, Nebr. and was 53 years of age. She was married to Walter Pfeiffer of Arlington in 1939. This couple has one son, Robert.

She is survived by her husband, Walter, and son, Robert.

She had previously lived in Fremont and had graduated from Fremont High School in 1934. She was a Sunday School teacher, a Y-Teen sponsor, a den mother for the Scouts, active in various parts of the church work in Arlington, had been in Extension Club work over 25 years, and had helped in 4-H work.

She is also survived by two brothers, Hamilton Manzel of Visalia, California and Marvin Manzel of Bellevue, Nebr. Also three sisters, Mrs. Burala Babe of San Pedro, Calif.; Mrs. Leonard Palensky of Linwood, Nebr.; and Mrs. Gordon Rieier of Fremont.

Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Tuesday at the Arlington Community Church with Rev. Leo Zillig officiating. Committal was in the Arlington Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society. The Reckmeyer Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Charles Andersen, Ralph Clausen, Lucien Furmeister, Edward Mahel, Dr. Louis Otto, Jerome Sperling.
