Mr. and Mrs. William Quinlan, who live on south Walker Avenue, lost their little son, Jerry, aged nine years, this afternoon of pneumonia. He had had the prevailing flu and at about 4 o’clock this morning pneumonia developed and he passed away at about 2 o’clock this afternoon. The funeral service will be held at the Catholic church at 10 o’clock Friday forenoon. Jerry was born on the farm over in Harrison county where the family lived for a number of years, September 23rd, 1918. He is survived by his parents, one sister, Ruth, and two brothers, William and Patrick.

Funeral services for Jerry Quinlan were held from the Catholic church last Friday morning with Father C. A. Beyersdorfer officiating, following which burial was made in Blair cemetery. The deceased was born in Harrison county, Iowa, Sept. 23, 1918. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Quinlan, a sister and two brothers.
