Mr. Ed. J. Evers passed away at his home in Omaha, 3560 Jones Street at six p.m. last Friday and the funeral services were held on Monday at two-thirty p.m. and interment made in the West Lawn Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Evers lived in this county some thirty years ago on a farm near Orum, but as he had all his life been in the painting and decorating business, he moved to Omaha where he has since made his home. While residing in this county, Mr.Evers and family made many friends who will kindly remember him.

He leaves a wife and an only daughter, a step-daughter and step-son to mourn his sad death. He was sixty-two years of age.

Mesdames Frank Schafer, Rolland Smith, C. C. Reeh and daughter went to Omaha to be present at the funeral.
