Services were Thursday, April 18, at Living Word Evangelical Lutheran Church in Katy, Texas, for Delores Bull Evey. Burial was at Katy Magnolia Cemetery in Katy.

Delores Evey was born to Frederick “Bill” and Katherine “Kack” Bull May 30, 1930. She lived in the Elkhorn area until 1965, when she married Jim Evey and moved with her Air Force husband to various bases. Their last move was to Pasadena, Texas, where her husband, Jim retired. They later moved to Katy and resided there the last two years.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lyle Nelson and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Ed Evey; sons and their spouses, Scott and Marcia Nelson and Lee and Eva Marie Evey; daughters and their spouses, Linda Hyams, Mary and Chris Oliver, Debbie and Buddy Clark, six grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Verna Bull of Blair, Wilbur and Bonnie Bull of Elkhorn, Frederick and Bev Bull of Crete; a sister and brother-in-law, Addie and Pete Backhuus of Bennington and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
