GEO. TALLMAN DIES

Geo. Tallman, a son of Mrs. Chris Samuels of this city, died at the home of his parents on Wednesday morning of last week. The funeral services were held at the home on Friday with Rev. Marsh officiating and the body was interred in the Blair cemetery.

The young man was for three years in the advertising department of “The Chicago Examiner” but poor health forced him to resign and seek a place where the work would not be so strenuous. He accordingly secured a position as elevator boy in the Brandeis stores of Omaha, in which position he had been but a short time when he was stricken with inflammatory rheumatism which, with a leakage of the heart, caused his death.

His illness extended over a period of four months, two months of which was spent in the Methodist hospital of Omaha; as the end drew near he wished to be brought home. His wishes were complied with and on Monday afternoon he was moved to the home of his mother and step-father in this city, to wait the end which came on the following Wednesday morning.

He leaves to mourn him his mother, step-father and other relatives.
