SERVICES FOR PERRY G. TOEBBEN TO BE THURSDAY

Mr. Perry G. Toebben, age 53, of Rte. 1, Blair, died at his home Monday evening, March 8th. He was born July 24th, 1917 to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Toebben near Fontanelle.

On June 9, 1940 he was married to Verna Stork and they have farmed near Blair.

He is survived by his wife Verna; one son Robert of Blair; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Biache (Karen) of Lombard, Illinois; and two grandsons, Daniel and Thomas. Other survivors are his mother, Mrs. Emma Toebben of Arlington; 2 brothers, Kenneth of Nickerson and Delmar of Ralston.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 11th at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of which he was a member. The Rev. Donald Gesterling will officiate and burial will be in the St. Paul’s church Cemetery. The Latten-Dugan-Chambers Mortuary of Fremont is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Toebben was well known in the Arlington area and took part in many activities in Arlington. He actively participated in the Arlington Centennial program and was noted for his cheerful smile and greetings to everyone. Mr. Toebben had been in failing health for several months from cancer.
