NATIVE OF BLAIR DIES IN KANSAS

Mrs. Lucille Williamson, a native of Blair but for many years a resident of the Kansas City area, died at Munson Army Hospital January 1st.

Mrs. Williamson’s husband had preceded her in death.

Mrs. Williamson will be remembered by many of the older residents as the former Lucille McComb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles McComb, one-time Blairites, now deceased. Mr. McComb was, for many years, a barber here. The family lived in the 1400 block on east Grant Street.

Mrs. Williamson was born at Blair January 18, 1910. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard Newman of Kansas City, and by a brother, Percy McComb, of Omaha. There are three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary January 6th and burial was made in the Blair Cemetery. The Rev. John Bauserman conducted the service.
