She was a member of Abiding Faith Baptist Church and Eastern Star.

She spent countless hours in the garden, and canned the produce and tended flowers of all kinds. She also enjoyed sewing and lovingly made clothes for her grandchildren.

The Larsens were able to celebrate many milestones together including 70 years of marriage and their 94th birthdays.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Bonnie Larsen of College Station, Texas, and Bruce and Peggy Larsen of Elkhorn; four grandchildren: Sarah, Ryan and wife Brenda, Abby and Sally. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; brother, Bill; and sister, Irene.
