Joan Mary Masters, 79

Joan Mary Masters, 79, of Blair, died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at Creighton Medical Center in Omaha.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 9, at First Lutheran Church in Blair. Private family graveside services will be at a later date. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Masters had many friends and loved everyone. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Bruce Masters of Omaha, John and Sally Masters of Blair, Sue and Rick Nielsen of Blair, and Julie Masters of Indianola, Iowa; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carol Minino and Kathy Falk, both of Omaha; sister-in-law, Eileen Vopalka of Omaha; sister-in-law and spouse, Betty and Stan Carnes; sister-in-law, Mary Vogel; brother-in-law, Robert Masters; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Al and Georgia Falk; brother, Butch Vopalka; special friend, John Masters; sister-in-law, Ruby Masters; daughter-in-law, Ginger Masters; grandsons, Jason Masters and Colby Masters; and many other relatives and friends.
