Herman Hansen

Arlington – Herman Hansen, 79, of Arlington died Saturday at the Memorial Hospital of Dodge County.

Mr. Hansen was born Oct. 30, 1905, in Plainview. He farmed near Plainview until 1946. He later farmed northeast of Arlington.

In 1954 he started working for House Lumber, where he worked for 24 years. He moved to Arlington in 1959.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Orum.

Mr. Hansen married Lois Lambert on March 30, 1932, at Creighton. She survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Dale of Colorado Springs, Don of Arlington and Marvin of Fremont; one brother, Aron and one sister, Esther Johnson, both of Plainview; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Orum. The Rev. Russell E. Saltzman will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home.
