Lois E. Hansen, 91

Lois E. Hansen, 91, of Arlington, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, at the A. J. Merrick Manor in Fremont.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Orum, with Dr. Robert Rademacher officiating. Interment will be in the Orum Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington, and also at the church on Wednesday, one hour prior to services.

Lois E. Hansen was born June 4, 1911, in Creighton to William and Dora (Sebade) Lambert. She grew up in Creighton.

On March 30, 1932, she married Herman Hansen in Creighton. Following their marriage, the couple farmed in Plainview until 1946, when they moved to a farm northeast of Arlington. In 1959, they moved into Arlington.

Mrs. Hansen had worked as a cook for the Arlington Public Schools for several years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Orum.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Anna Hansen of Colorado Springs, Colo., Don Hansen of Arlington, and Marvin and Peg Hansen of Fremont; a brother, Melvin Lambert of Wall, S.D.; daughter-in-law, Linda Delaney of Fremont; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Keith.

Memorials are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Orum.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
