HENRY HUE PASSES OVER

DIED IN FREMONT LAST FRIDAY FROM THE RESULTS OF AN ACCIDENT ABOUT A MONTH AGO

Henry Hue, a resident of the Spiker neighborhood since 1892, passed away at the hospital in Fremont last Friday afternoon from the results of an accident that occurred about four weeks previous to his death, blood poison having set in.

Mr. Hue was born in Germany May 5th, 1865, so was past 63 years of age at the time of his death. When he was 25 years of age he came to this country and spent one year at Waterford, Wisc.; one year in the state of Washington; and then came to Washington county in 1892, settling on a farm near Spiker.

He was married to Miss Anna Meier August 21st, 1891 and two children were born to them, Albert and Hilda, Mrs. K.J. VanValin. Besides the wife and two children he leaves two sisters, three grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends who deeply mourn the passing of so good and true a husband, father, neighbor and friend.

He was honest and upright in all his dealings with his neighbors and fellows and so was also a good citizen whose passing was a sincere shock to his entire community, for he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Music was furnished by Mrs. Geo. Lowe, Mrs. Pete Webster, J.H. Johnson and Fred Robertson with Mrs. Hanson at the piano. Interment was made in the Herman cemetery.

A precious one from us is gone, A voice we loved is stilled; A place is vacant in our home Which never can be filled. God in His wisdom has recalled The boon His love had given, And though the body moulders here The soul is safe in Heaven.

CARD OF THANKS: To our many friends and neighbors who were so kind to us with their help and words of sympathy in our great bereavement in the loss of our beloved husband and father, and for the words of consolation, the songs and the beautiful flowers and to all those who helped in any way we wish to extend our most heartfelt thanks. MRS. HENRY HUE AND CHILDREN
