CITY MAIL CARRIER LOST ONLY SON

Mr. and Mrs. Claar Milrons lost their only son, John Claar, jr., Monday evening. He was born October 16th, so was but five weeks old. He was what is known as a “little blue baby” and never became healthy, but in his weakness he called forth the greater love of his parents, for he was their only son.

The funeral was conducted at the house at 11 o’clock today by Rev. W.B.F. Robb, of the Christian church, with burial in the Blair cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Milrons have two fine daughters living.

Claar succeeded Leclie (sp?) Offen on City Route No. 1 as carrier. Mrs. Milrons was formerly Miss Dorothea Watts. Their many friends sympathize with them in their first great sorrow.

OBITUARY: John Claar Millrons, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Claar Millrons, born Oct. 16, 1928, passed away Nov. 19, 1928.

All that human hands could do to save the life of the little one was done but it was of no avail. From his birth he was frail and an attack of pneumonia proved more than he could stand.

The funeral services were held from the home on west Lincoln street on Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. W.F.B. Robb of the Christian church officiating and interment was made in the Blair cemetery beside his grandfather, John Allison Millrons. Beside the grief stricken parents, he leaves two sisters and three grandparents to mourn his death.
