Frank Sorenson, son of P.C. Sorenson, passed away at his home Tuesday, July 24. Frank Sherman Sorenson was born at Kennard, Neb., November 12, 1906, and had reached the age of 21 years, 8 mo. and 12 days at the time of his death. He had been an invalid since childhood and had always been at home and cared for by his folks. He was baptized in infancy in the Lutheran church. He leaves to mourn his passing his father, Peter C. Sorenson; two sisters, Alma and May; and seven brothers, Albert, Ola, Andrew, Lester, all at home; Clarence of Wayne; Nels of Kennard; and Soren of Tekamah; also two nieces besides a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church at Kennard on Thursday, July 26, with burial in the Kennard cemetery by the side of his mother who preceded him in death on March 11, 1913. We extend our sincerest sympathy to the bereaved relatives.

Frank Sorensen, 21, son of Peter C. Sorensen, passed away at his home last Monday night after but a few days of serious illness though he has been a lifelong invalid. He is survived by his father; two sisters, Alma and May Sorensen; and seven brothers: Clarence of Wayne; Soren C. of Tekamah; Nels P., Albert, Ola, Andrew and Lester; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church with Rev. K. Larsen in charge, interment being made in Kennard cemetery. We extend sympathy to the grief stricken family.

KENNARD MAN DIED

FRANK SORENSEN DIES AT FATHER’S HOME AFTER LONG ILLNESS

Frank Sherman Sorensen was born November 12, 1906 at Kennard and passed away at his home early last Tuesday morning. He grew to manhood at Kennard and had been an invalid since early childhood, having been cared for at the parental home. In infancy he was baptized in the Lutheran church and was a constant church attendant.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his father, Peter C. Sorensen; two sisters, Alma and May; seven brothers, Albert, Ola, Andrew and Lester at home; Clarence at Wayne; Nels at Kennard; and Soren at Tekamah. His mother died March 11, 1913.

Funeral services were held last Thursday at 1:30 o’clock from the family home and at 2:00 o’clock from the Lutheran church at Kennard, the Rev. Knud Larsen, officiating, after which interment was made in the Kennard cemetery.

Note that the family’s surname is spelled with both “..on” and “..en.”
