Carl M. Mackeprang, Sr., 78, of Wilber, who had relatives in the area, died Monday, Jan. 18, 1999.

Services were Thursday, Jan. 21, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Kramer with Pastor John Heckmann officiating.

He was survived by his wife, Lola; two daughters, Karen Beranek of Pleasant Dale and Gwen Kalkwarf of Crete; four sons, Carl Jr. of Zion, Md., Marvin of New Castle, Pa., Marion of Western and Gary of Louisville; 12 grandchildren and two sisters, Thelma Rix of Clearwater and Margaret Plugge of Kennard.

Memorials are suggested to St. John’s Church in Kramer or the Wilber Care Center.

Kuncl Funeral Home in Crete was in charge of arrangements.
