Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 24, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home for Gertrude Mae Mackin, 75 who died in Omaha January 21, 1990. The Rosary will be said Tuesday, January 23 at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Gertrude Mae Mackin was born May 7, 1914 in rural Blair to Patrick and Nellie Murray Mackin, Sr. She attended elementary school at Maney School in rural Washington County and graduated from Blair High School.

She lived on the family farm until 1965 when she moved to Blair. She has lived he past year with a niece in Omaha.

She was a waitress at the Blue Ribbon for 20 years. She recently retired from that position.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Patrick Mackin, Jr.

She is survived by one brother, John J. Mackin of Omaha; one niece, Pat (Mrs. Dan) Frost of Omaha; a nephew, Larry Mackin of Phoenix, Arizona; and three grand-nephews.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
