Melvin E. Magill, 98

Former Herman resident Melvin E. Magill, 98, of Blair, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.

Funeral services will 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 21, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Herman Cemetery.

Melvin E. Magill was born March 15, 1906, in Herman to Arthur and Hannah (Anderson) Magill. He attended the Broderson School and Blair High School. He farmed in his earlier years and then worked in construction until his retirement.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Evelyn Magill and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd, Raymond Sr., A. I. and Harold Magill; and sisters, Mardelle Grothe and Geraldine Clements.
