Raymond Magill Funeral Services At Herman

Funeral services were held at Herman Saturday afternoon for Raymond Magill, Sr., a native of the Herman area.

He was born at Herman January 6, 1904 and died at Blair February 5, 1976. He was 72 years of age.

Mr. Magill spent his life as a farmer and had retired and moved to Blair where he lived at 622 North 21st Street.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie and by two sons and a daughter. The sons are Raymond Magill, Jr., of Herman and Orville Magill of Craig, Nebraska. The daughter (Marlene) is Mrs. Norman Hineline, of Omaha. There are eleven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Four brothers are living. They are Floyd, of Tekamah, Melvin and A. I. Magill, both of Herman and Harold Magill, of Fremont. Mrs. Mardell Grothe lives at Tekamah and Geraldine Clements lives at Herman.

Funeral services were held at the Herman Legion Hall Saturday afternoon, February 7th. The Rev. William Whittaker conducted the service and burial under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary, was made in the Herman Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Roger Grothe, Robert Magill, Merlin Magill, Don Magill, Al Pechnik and Richard Magill.
