DEATH OF MRS. SCHMIDT
The remains of Mrs. Leona Schmidt who died at Omaha last week, were brought here for burial being laid at rest in the Blair cemetery last Thursday.
The deceased was born and raised in Blair. She was a daughter of Jas. M. Smith, an old soldier who now resides at the Soldier's home in Grand Island, Nebraska. She was granddaughter of Peter R. Bruner, a pioneer of Washington County. He was here before Blair was known and followed the occupation of a stage driver. In later years he filled the position of County Clerk.
