Clarence N. Ackerman was born November 7, 1897 at Herman, Nebraska, the son of John and Elizabeth Ackerman. They lived on a farm west of Herman. Mr. Ackerman and Jessie Donahue were married in 1932, and lived in Washington County until 1937 when they moved to Dunning, Nebr. In 1941 they moved to Oregon.

Mr. Ackerman passed away November 12 at the hospital in McMinnville, Oregon at the age of 65 years.

He is survived by three sisters, Alma, Lucile and Leona; and one brother, Floyd, all of Herman. Also two nieces and one nephew in Tekamah.

Funeral services for Mr. Ackerman were held Thursday, November 15, at the Chapel in McMinnville, Oregon.
