Marie Maher Is Buried In Missouri

Funeral services were held Thursday, May 7, at St. Peter’s Church in Jefferson City, Missouri for Mrs. Marie Maher. Burial was at Resurrection Cemetery.

Mrs. Marie Maher, age 73, died May 4, 1981, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Jefferson City, Missouri, following a three-week illness. She was the widow of Robert E. Maher of Blair, who died in 1936.

Marie Cecilia Mullen was born September 21, 1907, at Dunlap, Iowa.

Survivors include her son, Robert M. Maher of Jefferson City; his wife, Anne and three grandchildren, Cecilia, Mark, and Anne Justine. Sisters-in-laws are Mrs. Ruth O’Hanlon and Mrs. Agnes Maher both of Blair; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.
