Maiker

Funeral services for 81 year old Nettie R. Maiker, of Fremont, were held on Wednesday, July 10th in Fremont. Mrs. Maiker died on Sunday, July 7th, at the Arbor Manor in Fremont.

The services were at the First Lutheran Church in Fremont with Rev. John T. Beck officiating. Ludvigsen Mortuary was in charge of arrangements and burial was in the Memorial Cemetery of Fremont.

Mrs. Maiker was born March 29, 1904 in Stromsburg, Nebraska where she lived her early years. The former Nettie Nelson was married on May 2, 1925 at the First Lutheran Church in Fremont to Fred Maiker. He preceded her in death in March of 1947. For several years Ms. Maiker had worked for the Wallace Paint sand Sign Company in Fremont.

Nettie is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Mary Utecht of Lincoln and Mrs. Don (Betty) Bader of Dadham, Mass.; a son Peter Maiker of Huntsville, Alabama; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother Earl Nelson of Arlington; sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Darlene) Murray of Arlington, Mrs. Orrin (Elsie) Skinner of Redlands, California and Mrs. Eva Stoki of Stromsburg.

Memorial may be given in memory of Mrs. Maiker to her church.
