Edward T. Mallette, 88, of Hooper died Sunday, May 10, 1987.

He was born January 28, 1899. Mallette lived and farmed southeast of Uehling until five years ago, when he and his wife moved to Uehling.

He moved to Hooper and his wife to Good Samaritan Home in Scribner, where she passed away three weeks ago.

Survivors include one son, Pat Mallette of Blair; two daughters, Betty Vachiver of Ewing, and Donna Schafersman of Hooper, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services were held at Elim Lutheran Church, southeast of Uehling on Wednesday, May 13.

Pallbearers were Patrick Mallette; Larry Hayes; Jeff Vachiver; Jerry Ronk; Pat Faden, and Doug Turner.

Burial was in the church cemetery.
