Funeral services are Friday, February 12, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hooper for Mrs. Lucile Mallon, 64, who died February 6, 1982, in Venice, California, after a short illness.

Rev. Joe Marek will conduct the services. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She is the sister of Mrs. Martin Homes of Blair.

Lucile Mallon was born Lucile Von Seggern on July 19, 1917, at Scribner. She married Thomas Mallon on August 8, 1953.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Mallon; two sons, Thomas and John; and one daughter, Elizabeth, all of California. Her mother, Mrs. G. Bertha Von Seggern, Scribner, four sisters, Mrs. George Drieling, and Mrs. Merlin Popken of Scribner; Mrs. Vernon Miller of Fremont and Mrs. Martin Homes of Blair; and three brothers, Leslie of Scribner, Marvin of West Point and Harlan of Newton, Iowa, also survive her.

Spear Funeral Home in Scribner is in charge of arrangements for the services.
