Neil Kenneth Manzer, 60, of Kennard, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, at Arbor Manor in Fremont.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at Grace United Methodist Church in Kennard. The Rev. Michael McGregor will officiate. Interment will be a private family committal at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Neil Kenneth Manzer was born July 30, 1940 in McLean to Kenneth and Minnie (Sieling) Manzer. He grew up in the Randolph, McLean and Laurel areas.

He moved to Omaha in 1971 where he started his masonry business. In 1977, he moved to Bennington and 1986, he moved to Kennard.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Kennard, and was a former member of the Blair Eagles Club. He was also a member of the Bennington Volunteer Fire Department in the late 1970s to mid-1980s.

He is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Kevin Manzer, and Douglas and Rebecca Manzer, all of Kennard, and B. Ty Manzer of Norfolk, two daughters and son-in-law, Dawn Manzer of Norfolk and Debra and Mark Ladenburger of Fremont, two sisters, Arlis Manzer Rudebusch of Randolph and Joy and Phil Grosserode of Tilden, and special friend, Marilyn Springer of Omaha, and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Eudene Frederick.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont is in charge of arrangements.
