Graveside services were Saturday, February 10, at the Arlington Cemetery in Arlington for Iona A. Marcoux, 74 who died February 6, 1990 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Dr. Fred Richart of Calvary United Methodist Church officiated.

Iona A. Marcoux was born April 2, 1915 at Nickerson, Nebraska. She lived on a farm near Nickerson until she was seven years old at which time she moved to western Nebraska. She attended grade school and high school at Sunol, Nebraska, moving to Sidney, Nebraska when she was a senior in high school.

She received a Bachelor’s Degree in education at Chadron State Teacher’s College in 1936. She taught drama and English in Broadwater, Nebraska before moving to Los Angeles. She came to Fremont September 1, 1988 from El Segundo, California.

She married Arthur Marcoux May 31, 1953 at Las Vegas, Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Million and a sister, Margaret.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur; her mother, Minnie Million of Sidney; and a brother, Lewis Million of Parker, Colorado.

Moser Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements for the services.
