Alfred W. Marquardt, 51

Former Blair resident Alfred W. Marquardt, 51, of Pompano Beach, Fla., died July 13, 2005, in a local Florida hospital. Funeral services were July 18 at a Fort Lauderdale area funeral home.

Alfred William Marquardt was a resident of Blair from 1965 until he graduated from Blair High School in 1972.

He is survived by his wife, Marguerite F. “Maggie”; son, William R. Marquardt of Gainesville, Fla.; father, Robert L. Marquardt Sr. and brother, Robert L. Marquardt Jr., both of Lago Vista, Texas; and sister, Sandy Scott of Round Rock, Texas.
