Dorothy “Dotty” M. Marquardt, 75 died April 22, 1995 in West Palm Beach, Florida after a short illness.

She was born October 22, 1919 in Jefferson, South Dakota to Myrtle and L. E. “Ed” Wilcox.

She married Robert L. Marquardt March 20, 1942. They lived in Tekamah until 1952 when they moved to Junction City, Kansas where they owned a gift store until 1957. At that time, they moved to Lincoln, Nebraska.

They moved to Blair in 1963 and lived there until moving to South Padre Island, Texas where Dotty was city secretary until retiring in 1989. They moved to Jupiter, Florida in 1991 and then to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert of Palm Beach Gardens; a daughter, Sandra (Mrs. Tom) Tyson of Austin, Texas; two sons, Robert, Jr. and A. William “Bill”, II both of Palm Beach Gardens; one sister, Marvis (Mrs. Daryl) Bernard, Yankton, South Dakota; two brothers, Harold Wilcox, Elk Point, South Dakota; and Keith Wilcox, Pierre, South Dakota; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
