Services for Clarence Marr, 85 of Fort Calhoun who died June 9, 1995 at Memorial Community Hospital will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 13 at the Fort Calhoun Baptist Church with military graveside services in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Clarence C. Marr was born May 31, 1910 at Tekamah, Nebraska to Clifford and Hazel Sisson Marr. He attended District No. 24 School in rural Tekamah.

In 1942, he entered the Army and served until 1945. He farmed northwest of Fort Calhoun until 1976, when he moved to town.

He was a member of the Fort Calhoun Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and 40 et 8.

He married Annie Sondrol in Grandforks, North Dakota September 27, 1941.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Annie.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Camilla Borgelt, Fremont; Kenneth and Connie Marr, Aurora, Colorado; Jeanine Marr, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Ward and Patty Marr, Omaha; Tony Marr, Omaha, John Marr, Fremont and Terry Marr, Roseburg, Oregon; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters Ruth McKinnis, Blair and Iva Rager, Tekamah and three brothers, Ervin Marr, Orville Marr and Pete Marr, all of Tekamah.
