Services for Alta Marsh, 83, who died September 4, 1995 at Crowell Memorial Home will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 8 at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Alta V. Marsh was born January 3, 1912 at Pierce, Nebraska to Elmer and Alta Barker Frain. She moved to Blair as an infant. She attended Blair Elementary and Blair High School.

She married Stanley Marsh January 8, 1930. They farmed in the Spiker area until his death in June of 1978, at which time she moved to Blair. In May, 1995, she moved to Crowell Memorial Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley; a son, Stanley, Jr., who died at birth; one brother, George Frain; two sisters, Gladys Follen and Edith Lee; one grandson, Tommy Marsh and one granddaughter, Carol Husk.

She is survived by two daughters, Joan Pelnar, Blair and Marian Marlene Keil, Erie, Colorado; two sons, Marvin Marsh, Arvada, Colorado and Larry Marsh, Blair; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Elma Kuhr, Blair; two brothers, Garold Fain, Monteca, Californai and Carol Frain of Spulveda, California.
