Services For Mrs. Al Marsh Held In Washington

Funeral services for Jewel Marsh, former resident of Omaha, were held in Spokane, Washington, on Friday, November 17, at the Ball & Dodd Funeral Home. Private interment followed at Greenwood Memorial Terrace in Spokane. Services were conducted by the Reverend R. Gordon Harrison of St. Paul’s Methodist Church of Spokane. Mrs. Marsh died Sunday after an illness of almost a year.

Mrs. Marsh, 64, is survived by her husband, Albert E., who was born on a farm at Herman, Nebraska. They lived in Omaha for 25 years where Mr. Marsh worked as assistant engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad. In 1965 he was transferred to Rock Springs, Wyoming. He retired from the Union Pacific in 1972 and worked with the Patton Consulting Mining Engineers in Rock Springs until 1975 when the family moved to Spokane.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Marsh is survived by 4 sons: Douglas R. and Ralph T., both at the home in Spokane; Morgan E. of Lenexa, Kansas, and Gilbert R. of Rock Springs, Wyoming; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers, James L. Collins of Portland, Oregon, and Ralph D. Collins of Spokane, Washington; numerous nieces and nephews.

While residing in Omaha, Mrs. Marsh was a member of Trinity Methodist Church.
