Services Are Held Monday For Stanley Marsh

Services were held Monday, June 19, at Campbell Funeral Home for Stanley Burt Marsh who died June 15, 1978, at the Senior Citizens Home in Tekamah. Reverend Owen Wilmot officiated at the services. Interment was in the Blair Cemetery.

Stanley Burt Marsh was born January 6, 1899, in Herman to Margaret Innes and Burt Elias Marsh. He and his wife, Alta Frain Marsh, lived in the Herman area where he farmed.

He is survived by his wife, Alta, Herman; two daughters, Marlene Keil, Erie, Colorado, and Joan Hansen, Blair; and two sons, Marvin Marsh, Arvada, Colorado, and Larry Marsh, Blair. One brother, Albert Marsh, Spokane, Washington; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive him.

Mrs. Clare Cowing was the organist and vocalist for the services.

Pallbearers were Riley Broderson, Jack Cameron, Leland Grabbe, Ivan Hovendick, Sr., Chet Larsen and Hurley Ray. Honorary pallbearers were Walt Giesselman, Roy Hansen, Dewey Holstein, David Rasmussen, A. J. Skov and Wesley Sprick.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Herman Rescue Squad.

Campbell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the services.
