Charlotte Marshall, 95

Charlotte J. “Lottie” Marshall, 95, of Arlington died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998, at Arbor Manor in Fremont.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Arlington Community Church. Dr. Charles V. Lee will officiate. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Mrs. Marshall was born March 20, 1902, in rural Arlington to Fred and Katherine (Hartung) Heuerman. She grew up and lived in the Arlington area all her life. She moved into Arlington in 1966 and had lived at Arbor Manor in Fremont since January 1988. On Sept. 5, 1928, she married James O. Marshall at Marysville, Kan.

She was a member of Arlington Community Church and was a charter member of the church circle. She was also a member of the What-So-Ever Extension Club at Arlington.

Survivors are a son, W. J. “Jim” Marshall of Gordonville, Tex.; two daughters, Jeanne Rosenbaum of Burnsville, Minn. and Beverly (Mrs. Roscoe) Osterman of Fremont; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three brothers, Arthur Heuerman, Chet Heuerman and Fred Heuerman; seven sisters, Florence Heuerman, Martha Peterson, Elva McChesney, Edna Schmidt, Emma Smith, Lucille Mefford and an infant.

Pallbearers will be Randall Osterman, Terry Cheshier, Gary Hennen, Kirk Marshall, Fred Heuerman and Monnie Peterson.

Memorials may be given to the Arlington Community Church.

Arlington – The funeral for Charlotte J. “Lottie” Marshall, 95, of Arlington, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Arlington Community Church, UCC.

She died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 1998, at Arbor Manor Living Center in Fremont.

Charlotte Heuerman was born March 20, 1902, at rural Arlington. She grew up and lived in the Arlington area all of her life. She moved into Arlington in 1966. She married James O. Marshall Sept. 5, 1928, at Marysville, Kan. He died Jan. 8, 1980. She had been residing at Arbor Manor since January 1988.

She was a member of Arlington Community Church, UCC, was a charter member of the church circle; and was a member of the What-So-Ever Extension Club in Arlington.

Survivors include: a son, W. J. “Jim” Marshall of Gordonville, Texas; two daughters, Jeanne Rosenbaum of Burnsville, Minn., and Beverly (Mrs. Roscoe) Osterman of Fremont; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers and seven sisters.

The Rev. Charles V. Lee will officiate Saturday’s service. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, with family receiving friends 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington. Visitation will continue one hour prior to Saturday’s service at the church. Burial will be at Arlington Cemetery.

A memorial has been established to the church.
