Body found outside hospital

The death of a man found on the grounds of Memorial Community Hospital in Blair stemmed from natural causes with no foul play involved. The body of a white male was found on the north side of the hospital grounds at approximately 7:45 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25. The identity of the man has not been released pending notification of his family although the Blair Police Department said the man was not a resident of Blair or Washington County. Lt. Aaron Barrow said the investigation into the case has been completed and Washington County Attorney Ed Talbot has determined an autopsy was not needed. Because the man’s car was found in the hospital parking lot, it is believed the man attempted to drive himself to the hospital and became disoriented upon leaving his car.
